Existential therapy · Fair Oaks & telehealth
Space to explore meaning, purpose, freedom, loss, and the choices that shape a life.

About existential therapy
Existential therapy focuses on the big themes of being human: meaning, responsibility, isolation and connection, uncertainty, and mortality. Rather than only targeting symptoms, it looks at how you are living and what matters to you.
It can stand on its own or be woven into other therapy, and it often appeals to people who feel something is missing even when life looks fine on paper.
Themes
Existential work is often combined with humanistic and acceptance-based (ACT) approaches.
What gives your life direction, and what to do when that feels lost.
The choices in front of you and how to make them with more clarity.
How you relate to others, and feeling alone even when you aren’t.
Living with not knowing, through transitions, illness, or a changing identity.
Grief, aging, and the awareness that time is limited.
Who you are and want to be, and living more in line with it.
Is this for you?

How it works
Start the short screening form. We review it, check your insurance benefits for therapy, and reach out about next steps.
We talk about what brings you in, your history, and your goals, and decide together whether we are a good fit.
Regular sessions in Fair Oaks or by telehealth, with goals revisited along the way so therapy stays useful.
Insurance
Many plans include behavioral health benefits for therapy. Coverage, copays, and session limits vary, and therapy benefits are checked separately from testing, so we verify your plan before your first session.
