Couples therapy · Fair Oaks & telehealth
For partners who want to understand each other better, break stuck patterns, and feel like a team again.

About couples therapy
Couples therapy focuses on the relationship itself: how you communicate, handle conflict, make decisions, and stay connected. Sessions are a structured place to slow down hard conversations so both partners feel heard.
Couples come in at every stage, from early in a relationship to many years in, and for reasons big and small.
Who you’ll see: Couples therapy is provided by Mason Anglin, PsyD, a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 121211) and Registered Psychological Associate (PSB94029529) at Cogniscribe Psychology.
Dr. Anglin’s couples work may draw on approaches such as the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and cognitive behavioral therapy, tailored to your goals as a couple.

How we work
Most sessions include both partners, so patterns can be seen and changed together.
We name what each of you wants and agree on what you’re working toward.
Practical ways to talk, listen, and repair that you can use at home.
How it works
Start the short screening form. We review it, check your insurance benefits for therapy, and reach out about next steps.
We talk about what brings you in, your history, and your goals, and decide together whether we are a good fit.
Regular sessions in Fair Oaks or by telehealth, with goals revisited along the way so therapy stays useful.
Insurance
Many plans include behavioral health benefits for therapy. Coverage, copays, and session limits vary, and therapy benefits are checked separately from testing, so we verify your plan before your first session.
