About ADHD
ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition involving persistent difficulties with attention, impulsivity, and/or hyperactivity that interfere with school, work, organization, relationships, and daily life.
Symptoms can continue into adulthood, and some people are not formally evaluated until college or later. Because anxiety, depression, sleep problems, and learning differences can look similar, a comprehensive evaluation matters.
Who provides evaluations: Psychological testing is provided by Mason Anglin, PsyD, a Registered Psychological Associate (PSB94029529), under the supervision of Youssef Nakhla, PsyD, a licensed psychologist (PSY 36042), at Cogniscribe Psychology.
Is this for you?
What’s included
Symptoms across settings, current impairment, developmental history, and the strategies you already use.
Validated ADHD measures plus attention, executive functioning, and cognitive or academic testing when appropriate.
Emotional and psychological factors are considered so the conclusion fits the whole picture.
Every evaluation includes a written report and a feedback session. No single computerized attention test or questionnaire is enough to establish or rule out ADHD.
How it works
We begin with a thoughtful conversation to understand the challenges, history, and goals you (or your child) are facing, so the evaluation fits your needs.
Clinical interviews, standardized testing, and careful observation, paced thoughtfully so you are comfortable and the results are accurate.
Every evaluation includes a feedback session, where results are reviewed in clear, straightforward language, and a written report with practical recommendations for next steps.
Insurance
Cogniscribe Psychology works with several major insurance plans, and we typically check how your plan applies before you start. Coverage for testing and therapy varies by plan, diagnosis, and medical necessity, so we verify your benefits and any authorization before you start.
Don’t see your plan? Behavioral health benefits are sometimes managed by a different network than the one on your card. Send us your plan in the screening form and we’ll check. Private pay is also available. See all plans →
