Child & teen therapy and assessment
Support for children, teens, and parents, with assessment when you need clearer answers about attention, learning, development, or emotions.

For families
Children often show stress through behavior, sleep, school, or friendships rather than words. Therapy gives them a space that fits their age, and gives parents tools and a partner in figuring things out.
When questions about ADHD, autism, learning, or development come up, an evaluation can bring clarity and guide the plan. Dr. Anglin provides both (testing under the supervision of Youssef Nakhla, PsyD), so therapy and testing can work together.

How it works
Sessions are shaped by your child’s age, needs, and goals, and you stay involved along the way.
Play- and activity-based sessions that help children show and practice what is hard to say.
Conversation and skill building around stress, mood, friendships, identity, and school pressure.
Time with parents to share observations, plan strategies for home, and check progress.
When it helps, family members work together on communication and routines.
With your permission, recommendations can be shared with teachers or school teams.
If questions about attention, learning, or development come up, an evaluation can be added.

How we work
Parents and caregivers are part of the process, with input and guidance as appropriate for your child’s age.
With your permission, recommendations can be shared with teachers or school teams.
How it works
Start the short screening form. We review it, check your insurance benefits for therapy, and reach out about next steps.
We talk about what brings you in, your history, and your goals, and decide together whether we are a good fit.
Regular sessions in Fair Oaks or by telehealth, with goals revisited along the way so therapy stays useful.
Insurance
Many plans include behavioral health benefits for therapy. Coverage, copays, and session limits vary, and therapy benefits are checked separately from testing, so we verify your plan before your first session.
FAQ
